IMPORTANT THREAD REGARDING INSTAGRAM/FACEBOOK SUPPORT I'm Carlos, the creator of OneClout. As you may know, Instagram and Facebook support was finished more than two months ago. But Meta won't allow real users to use my service until the business owning it is verified as legit by them. This is a somewhat new policy of Meta. So, I spent most of December creating a new US-based company, a business account, an EIN, etc...

On Dec 29th I sent all the papers to Meta. I got no news from them until a month later the verification was rejected. So I added more papers (phone bills, bank statements) and applied again. I waited for another month and yesterday the verification was rejected again. No explanation was given, just a notification. I cried. I literally cried... 😖

I've invested so much time and effort in Instagram/Facebook support... I have promised it to my users so many times and failed them... But I won't give up. I will submit my application as many times as is needed until they verify my business and I can fulfill the promise made to my users. This is being very hard for me. OneClout has become my obsession. I spent most of the day thinking about OneClout.

I have ambitious long-term plans for OneClout and even if I'd never make a dollar from it I'll keep improving it because I love the DeSo community and because I won't let the DeSo Foundation down after giving me a development grant. But I need to move on with new features and stop worrying about Meta. I'm targeting the end of March for the next two features: Twitter -> DeSo support and a new paid tier (more on this on a future post). Thank you for reading this personal wall of text, I love you all ❤️❤️❤️

ugh. F! them! It sucks and I'm sorry it's so hard for you... But what if we all just move on without them? I mean, I left both behind and though the Deso DAU is small, many here feel the same afaik
