Another little pearl of medical wisdom from my favourite textbook, “Vitalogy.” The following excerpt is taken from the section on treatment for FOREIGN BODIES IN THE THROAT. “ the piece of meat or whatever it may be, should be pushed down into the stomach by means of a small bit of sponge tied to the end of a piece of WHALEBONE, or some similar instrument “ Keep in mind, this was only written 120 years ago. I can’t believe how much our knowledge has changed over this relatively short time. (Now, if you want to know what to ACTUALLY do in this situation, @Ayham_Rawashdeh is a medical student and first-aid instructor who joined BitClout recently and conducts first aid training via zoom call!)

Today's medicine science is not 100% true because much of the false knowledge is there presented as truth just because some industries (pharma, supplements, etc) that profit from it back those studies. At least, I think so.

This is interesting and I respect that you educate yourself reading 120 year books as well. I think that it gives you a more round and objective perspective in regards to medicine.
