i've noticed when i post about @deso, my posts seem to get seen by more people. it makes sense, the community wants to promote the platform. i hope my posts about it get seen more because i also include ideas ofc. but with so many new people joining, it's like an easier way of gaining followers. i worry it can train people to become shills. shills for thrills. is it something that will dissipate as the platform grows naturally? or not until we have ways to look for specific content, via groups, or even just proper hashtag links? $DeSo #1 💪💪

absolutely! it can foster the idea that this is just another crypto cult. with the chance of so many new users, i get the desire to push how great DeSo is, i saw many posts yesterday like that. i would rather raise my value through substance. and by posting here, i hope i am adding value to DeSo. i think that ra-ra-DeSo-number-1 posts only add value to the poster by way of diamonds and follows, but it does nothing for the platform- BUT- does it look bad for the platform if we all stop contributing to liking those posts? that's the hot question!!
