i am starting the interview process with a blockchain company (non-social-media, no conflict of interest, i'm not leaving DESO don't worry).
had to do some programming assessment stuff. pretty sure i aced the first two questions. i chose javascript for my language for the first question, was pretty simple, analyze some API responses, convert data types, and include examples of how i would relate the problem to my team and to customer support.
I guess I should type like I type when I'm actually doing real stuff. The second question was JS-only, within a React framework, had to do some fetch calls, async/await, parse a JSON response and filter it based on certain criteria, etc.
It's all timed, but I finished both with plenty of time to spare - so the remainder of the time was used to add more comments. Oh, in the first question I forgot I should verify the data actually was of the wrong type before converting it, so I squeezed that in with a regexp with like 4 minutes to spare. The instructions said not to be too concerned with solving the issue, but I think I did that. Who knows, I might have missed some small details, but it passed the tests at least.
It'd be nice to be making money again! I had been stuck only thinking I would want to find a position using like PHP or another server-side language since that's more in my wheelhouse, but I'm really good at JavaScript - I am probably a bit too humble when I rank my skills. Like, I'm not an expert, but I know how to find out what I don't know pretty easily.

DAODAO launches at the end of March 2022! Make sure to visit the Discord @ discord.gg/daodao to discover the key.
(DAO, DAO) @ daodao.io is the true daodao platform, launching on the DESO blockchain (but any cryptocurrencies - well, a lot of them, at least, are accepted). If you want early access and it's still March 2022, you can do it. Why not? You don't want to miss out, I'm sure. Show everyone why you're the top dog of the block. ~THiS iS NoT FinANcIAL aDViCE~
