As we can see knowledge improves with time and trials, referring to what @thedoctor says we can see how much ignorant people were before 120 years. For ages myths were spread out giving false ideas regarding medicine. If you are interested to know the answer, in complete airway obstruction we apply Hamlich Maneuver, which is basically applying sudden strong pressure on the abdomin between the navel and the ribcage. Thanks alot @thedoctor for your words, i appreciate your support. Hey man thanks heaps! I love this old book- it is crazy what we used to believe! When I was reading the section on choking, I was thinking- I should post about what to actually do- then I thought- hang on- that's exactly what you teach, and more! 🙏
