I’m not using Diamondapp, so excuse my possibility uneducated take on the strategy looking at it from the outside: money making social media machine 💵 It’s consistent with the positioning set by referrals, which indeed suggests intentional gas leaking. I just don’t see the bigger win here either 😰 This should have been a whole exclusive, exquisite and expensive program the other way around—attract the real high class digital audiences and make them wish to take the step by themselves 🤷‍♀️ Oh, wellz!…

They might be running out of chances to do this thing right. Not sure the tone can change without different or more diverse people placed in the so-called foundation ASAP. If they are receiving advice, it does not look like its been great advice. If Nader is tightly gripped on his passion project (understandable) and not learning from the errors in judgement (imo) over these past 7 months, then we can hope for an intervention up there on the DeSo mountain peak. I am aligned with the vision of a decentralized network like this. The vision is not unique to Nader and pre-dates this and many many other projects. Ushering it in is not an easy task. Painting it as a money machine will make the task harder, not easier even if that seems illogical to some. It is the truth. wen serious?

Many brands get hurt doing bad marketing moves, but they are able to recover. This is not a great first impression (imo), but doesn’t have to stay like that. It will, for as long as referral programs with fat financial incentives roll out though. We’re all debating, ‘complaining’ and almost fighting because we all believe in DeSo, and care for the future of this space as an active part of it—that much @nader better know ❤️
