Though it ended months ago, we can mark today as the official end of an era with @BitSwap suspending services. This is a very challenging environment to develop in. I would encourage the Core Developer Team to do exit surveys with those that accomplished a great deal. There's much to be learned. I like the concept of BitClout. Still, I believe some of the blindspots have gone purposefully ignored. Worse, spammy behavior is rewarded by a shirking (and shrill) minority of users. The future can be optimistic. Build it.

A lot of respect is due to that team. Young hungry kids grinding to make a dream a reality. That said, investing in white paper only projects isn't a great idea. There are some real apps being built here that have some real promise and staying power. There will be a few more high profile projects that will be culled with time, but it's all part of the process.

It was an incredible ride. The first nail in the coffin was back in June. Bitclout just went down after the announcement of the deflationary bomb. Everything that was cool about bitclout, really felt it died back in May. What the team @Bitswap and @sigil was incredible! Two teenagers wrote a white paper in two weeks, building from their bedrooms. I'll be investing into Sigil tv (like Justin TV ) .
