I don't know American politics so much but I think Obama should not have stopped being the president. Why did he give up?

Yes he was but each president of the US can only be on board for 8 years (which he did) then a new president must be chosen.

thank you. It is an odd system but seams good. I don't understand why not just make his brother or sones the president when he can no longer function. I need to learn more about it if I want to live they're one day
