I minimize Photoshop and notice something out of the corner of my eye. I turn and see my youngest cat, somehow taking the form of her even younger self. She meows and sticks her tongue out at me. “The beer!” She snarls at me. “Bring me more, my thirst is ferocious!”
I grab a can from the fridge and throw it at her, my breathing becoming heavy. I put on some music that I know will calm her down. She begins to sing..
“I’m never gonna dance again, guilty feet have got no rhythm.. though it’s easy to purrtend, I know you’re not a fooool”
I jump onto the bed to watch some television. She looks at me and I bite the air and begin barking. She hides under the bed. “Ahaha it is so simple, you as a cat have mannerisms not unlike the fabled chicken creature!” I hold my hands up and cheer.
